Coffee Talk from the Catskills.....all Mugs are not the same....

A VERY, very snowy day is the perfect venue for using "Vintage Cool" mugs...The Nestle Co, Inc glass Globe "Nescafe" mugs are a recent SCORE from my client's renovation....Cleaning out the Cabinets for Demo can actually have an upside!

These are the 1960's version with very heavy glass and the etched "globe" design.  I have found these mugs in my travels for vintage merchandise but typically they have the older Nestle Logo.

I remember my Grandma Dotty always had Glass Mugs.  The coffee was always very HOT.  I bet you notice that ceramic mugs don't hold the heat as well.....hmmmmmm.

Here's to Dotty K. that couldn't TALK before her first Cup of Coffee.....She didn't change in 99 1/2 years...no reason.....I bet you could relate.
